US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and US Representative Ann Wagner have introduced to Congress the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act, a bill that would allow courts to erase survivors’ nonviolent federal criminal convictions resulting from being trafficked.
Being a victim to human trafficking is not a crime and the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act will help to enforce that. Support the bill today by joining Polaris and telling the Senate and House of Representatives to pass this legislation.
