An Aruna Run is a 5k run/walk where participants are able to raise funds that help secure freedom for a specific woman trapped in sexual slavery today. When you sign up to run in an Aruna run, you are given the name of a specific enslaved woman to run for.
Through the month of September, the Aruna Project is hosting a run in six cities across the United States. If your city is not one of them you can sign up to host Aruna Run here.
The Aruna Project is a 501(c)(3) that works to “bring and sustain freedom to the enslaved in brother systems through employment marked by holistic care.”
