In 2002, Pres. George W. Bush and both Houses of Congress declared January "National Mentoring Month." The effort was spearheaded by Harvard's Chan School of Public Health, National Mentoring Partnership, and the Corporation for National and Community Service. Consider honoring this month by becoming a mentor for a child or teen at-risk of falling prey to traffickers.
