Bullying is a problem in many schools. The same young people who are targets of bullies are also at disproportionate risk of falling victim to traffickers.

This day, sponsored by the National Bullying Prevention Center, is an opportunity to express solidarity against bullying. If you have an article of orange clothing, wear it! Many targets of bullying, such as people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community, are already at enhanced risk of falling victim to traffickers. The social isolation bullying can cause can make these groups even more vulnerable to the predations of modern-day enslavers.
