January 11th is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day in the United States. The Blue Campaign, a project of the Department of Homeland Security, wants you to wear blue on that day. Doing so will express solidarity with survivors of human trafficking as well as promote awareness of modern day enslavement.

How can you observe Wear Blue Day? You can start by putting on a blue shirt, dress, or pants. You can accessorize with a blue scarf, some blue jewelry, or a blue ribbon. You can also contribute to the campaign on social media using the hashtag #WearBlueDay or by following the Blue Campaign @DHSBlueCampaign.
