In 2005, CEO Colette Bercu watched an episode of "48 Hours Mystery" about sex trafficking in Romania, Mexico and the U.S. which inspired her to found Free for Life with her husband Dan in 2006. The organization helps operate two border monitoring stations and shelters in Nepal. They also provide scholarships and tailoring classes for survivors and those at high risk of being trafficked.
We partner with organizations and individuals globally to meet the needs of trafficking survivors and those who are considered to be at high risk of being trafficked. We partner by providing financial, emotional and spiritual support.
