Since its creation in 1992, Planet Children fights to defend the rights of all children, as described in the 1989 International Convention of Children's Rights: the right to identity, education and care; right to freedom of opinion and expression; right to access to information; and the right to protection against all forms of violence and exploitation. Over the years, it has organized its forces around a single fight: the protection of children against sexual exploitation and other forms of violence.
